Once you’ve set up your account in Kajabi, select “Products” and click on the blue “+ New Product” button. You can then choose from a set of templates. Select the template “Online Course” and click “Get Started”.

Next up, give your online course a title and write a short description. You can also upload a product thumbnail. But feel free to skip this step and add this later.

You’ll now see a populated online course that you can edit. You’ll see the categories and posts. Change the categories to the four steps you mapped out on the sheet of paper.

Click on “+ Add Content” to add a new post. For the name of the post, choose the first item on your list that you mapped out earlier in our exercise.

If you don’t have your videos recorded yet, you can still set up your online course structure in Kajabi and then upload the videos once you’ve recorded them.

Your post will be in “Draft” mode by default. This allows you to edit the post, upload your video and publish it once you’re ready.

If you click on the small pencil symbol, you can edit the post. This is where you’ll be able to upload your recorded video. You can also add a description, set a thumbnail for the post and add change the title.

Once you’re done adding the online course video, you can click “Preview” to see what your lessons looks like. This is what your students get to see.

As you’re probably realizing by now, setting up an online course is quite easy. Repeat these steps for all of your video lessons and you’re pretty much done with the course setup.
